Howson Branch Library Family Film Night will show the movie, “Where the Wild Things Are,” on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 6:30 pm. This movie is the 2009 American fantasy drama film directed by Spike Jonze and adapted from Maurice Sendak’s 1963 children’s book Where the Wild Things Are, where Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world–a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler.
