Alternative ways to submit a Service Request
Citizen Web Intake (CWI)
The following URL is a link to Austin 311’s Citizen Web Intake portal (CWI). From this point citizens can submit Service Requests online, these SRs (Service Requests) are then reported directly to the responsible department. It is not inclusive of every Service Request, but contains the most frequently used or big hitters. There are also several informational documents that can be retrieved in the Knowledge Base search tab.

Using the Austin 3-1-1 smart phone app to submit a service request is fast and easy.
With the Austin 3-1-1 smart phone app, citizens can work together to make Austin the most livable city in the country. The smart phone app is equipped with several features helping you to report concerns within the City of Austin.
The Austin 3-1-1 smart phone app is your on-the-go connection to City services. Information and photos provided allow City departments to efficiently assess, prioritize and respond to your requests. It is a free app available for use on Android and iOS smartphones. Users can download the app from the Google Play Store or iTunes Store.

How to check status of Service Request
Citizens can call in using the given Service Request Number they can track the progress of their request. Additionally, citizens can go to the below link using their SR Number and Email address to view progress online.
