    Nov. 9-12, 2009 Austin Strategic Mobility Plan Community Outreach Meetings - The City's Transportation Department is requesting public input from residents to discuss transportation concerns as part of the City’s Strategic Mobility Plan outreach. On Nov. 9-12, 2009, neighborhood outreach meetings will be held around the city at the locations listed below. Transportation engineers will be available between 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. to take comments about specific transportation concerns for roads, transit, rails, sidewalks, bicycles or trails.

    The Austin-American Statesman reports that the recommendations from Cooper, Robertson & Partners LLP (CR&P) for the redevelopment of the Brackenridge tract call for denser construction than City of Austin rules would generally allow.
